Balticon is a four-day sci-fi convention run by BSFS and held near Baltimore, MD each year around the time of Memorial Day weekend in May. The next Balticon will be held May 23-26, 2008.

Looney Labs used to put an effort into Balticon, and promoted their popular "Poptart Cafe" style here from 2000 to 2003. The Looneys have since switched to game-focused cons like Origins, and nowadays only sporadic rabbits show up here.

Tabletop gaming usually has one reserved room, with video games and LARPing happening elsewhere. The Game Club of Maryland occupies the bigger tables, and offers a large selection of house copies, mostly of the Eurogame variety. RPGs and miniatures gaming are also actively running throughout the weekend.

Looney Labs games popular with Balticon attendees are Zombie Fluxx, Chrononauts, and Zendo.
