No Such Convention (or NonCon for short) is a small gaming/scifi/anime/fantasy convention held at Vassar College, 124 Raymond Avenue, Poughkeepsie, New York.

[edit] What you should know

NonCon, currently in it's eighth year, is run by the on-campus Nonhuman Student Organization, and is held in the Student Center, which is in the building located directly behind the campus main gate. While small in attendance, the convention has played host to such notable guests of honor as Andy, and Alison; and SciFi authors such as C.J. Henderson.

• The Lab is located in the multi-purpose room on the second floor of the College Center. Look for an electronic message sign hanging from the ceiling and you've found the Lab.

NOTE: due to changes in the hours of operation of the convention, the event schedule has been modified.

[edit] Conduct

• All participants are honored guests and should be treated as such.

• If anyone shows an interest in a particular game that they do not already own, feel free to direct them to a vendor from whom they can purchase the game, or to the online shopping center.
• At no time can Rabbits sell product unless they are a Retailer Rabbit and have permission from the Convention Staff to have a retail presence at the convention.

• Remember you are representing Looney Labs (unofficially or officially) and must conduct yourselves accordingly.

• Most importantly HAVE FUN!!!

There are many other food and beverage places within a short distance of the campus, which includes Dominoes, Pizza Hut, Wendy's, Taco Bell, KFC, Uno's Pizzaria & the Acropolis Diner

The College Center offers several amenities open to all.

In addition to vending machines (soda, juice, water, snacks & ice cream) the College Center offers a snack bar that serves pizza, sandwiches, other fast food items such as burgers, fries, & onion rings, fresh fruit, snacks, salad bar and beverages.

There is a mail drop slot on the first floor of the College Center.

The Campus Bookstore, located in the basement of the College Center, is open to all (souvenirs, anyone?)

• All events run in the Lab are free to anyone who wishes to participate. The only restrictions are imposed by the games themselves (i.e. Are You A Werewolf? requires a minimum of 7 players and a maximum of 15 players).
• Any prizes given out are also free of charge.

This schedule may change depending upon visitor wishes. For example, if a group of people don't want to play Zombie Fluxx, but would rather play Zendo, then we will play Zendo, unless there are enough Rabbits and participants available to do both.

10am - 12pm	Zombie's Revenge	Play Zombie Fluxx. Winner receives a Fluxx 10th Anniversary promo card pack
11am - 1pm	Penguin Soccer Demo	Learn the 1HOUSE game, Penguin Soccer, from the designer ahead of Sunday's Penguin Soccer World Cup.
12 - 2pm	Volcano	Volcano, winner will receive, by one-time special arrangement with Looney Labs, a coffee mug with the Volcano logo
2 - 3pm	Twin Win	Try the latest Treehouse game
3 - 7pm	Adventures of the Time Repair Agency (ÜberChrononauts)	Winner will receive a promo card pack, the Gold Watch card and, by one-time special arrangement with Looney Labs, a set of coasters with the Time Repair Agency logo imprinted on them.
7 - 9pm	Are You A Werewolf?	Each participant will receive a Werewolf Etiquette card

1pm	Penguin Soccer World Cup	IAGO World Tour Event, sponsored by Alterniverse. Compete in the first ever Penguin Soccer Tournament!
12pm - 3pm	Free play	You tell US what game(s) you want to play and we'll be happy to play them with you.

[edit] Pyramid Pandemonium

On display will be a copy of the CyberBoard gamebox Pyramid Pandemonium, which allows you to play most of the pyramid games via email with other rabbits around the world.
