You can create an event report for any non-convention event by just adding a link to it on the Event Reports page and then clicking that link to open and edit its new page.

As explained on the article page for Event Reports, however, for convention event reports, we ask that you create a link to it under the convention category page's Event Reports section (see the Origins category page for an example). That link should be of the form "CONVENTION_NAME/YEAR" (no quotes), as per the links that are already on the convention category page.

If there is already an event report link for the year on which you are reporting then follow these steps:

  1. Click the link to the annual event report page.
  2. On that page, click "edit" at the top.
  3. Click the big A button in the editing toolbar to make a new subsection (heading level 2).
  4. Enter "~~~" (three tildes, no quotes) between the pairs of equal signs, to have the wiki automatically put your name as a link to your User page for the heading.
  5. On a new line, begin your report and write to your heart's content.
