Some helpful pages:

  • The tournament is played using the rules published in Playing With Pyramids The tournament organizer will oversee all games and make official rulings whenever they are required.
  • All Games must have exactly four players.
  • The tournament consists of two phases: Play-off (or "Ice-Offs") and the final round.
  • The number of games played in the Ice-Offs depends on the number of players in the tournament.
  • In an eight player tournament the players are divided randomly into 2 games and the first and second person to tag their final beacon wins.
    • Rules for play after first player in a game wins: After the first RAMbot tags their beacon the turn is completed normally. On the following turns the winning RAMbot is left on the game board but is not programmed (it acts as an extra beacon). If the bot is rammed or fired at pieces are not taken from the code-pool.
  • The final round is a single game of the four finalists from the Ice-Offs the winner of the game is the winner of the tournament.
