How to run a Werewolf Tournament
From RabbitWiki
Two awards are given during a tournament for this game, because the challenge is so totally different when you're a Villager versus when you're a Werewolf.
[edit] Are You A Werewolf? Tournament Rules
1.) This game is run as a Floating Tournament.
2.) At the end of any officially moderated game of AYAW?, all players still alive get a Werewolf Point (if they were Werewolves) or a Villager Point (if they were a Villager or the Seer). At the end of the event, the player with the most Werewolf Points will be named Alpha Werewolf, while the top scoring Villager will be called Best Werewolf Hunter.
3.) Games are run with the standard Looney Labs edition rules, as of the most recent edition. Of note:
- Villages must have at least 7 players, and no more than 15.
- No First Night Kill.
- Use a timer to limit the length of each day (10-15 minutes is a good day-length).
4.) You must be alive to be a winner. Many players would like to believe that they get some share of the victory when their village defeats the werewolves, even though they themselves did not survive. But this is a game about werewolves, not ghosts, and if you're dead, you lose. Your character might be well remembered in the history of the village, as a hero in the struggle against werewolves, but when you die you are out of the game, and you get no points for that session.
