[edit] This Page's Use of Convention Rabbit Coordinators

Given that there (should be, eventually will be) a coordinator listing for every Event on the calendar, the coordinators listed on this page are a bit redundant.

UNLESS we decide to use this page's Coordinators for Conventions list as the place where routine, annual Coordinators are listed. In other words, someone is listed here if they ALWAYS (or always expect to) Coordinate at a specific convention or event, every year.

Thus, the years listed below would be removed (e.g. Dragon*Con 2007 -> Dragon*Con).

Also, while I'm on the subject, why do we repeat "Rabbit Coordinator for" over and over again, when the whole POINT of the page (and every heading) refers to "Rabbit Coordinator"? Talk about overly redundant and space wasting! (Every listing takes a line more of the screen than necessary.) I am going to go ahead and take charge of removing those, in a single revision: if some authority disagrees, it should be easy to roll back: just paste "Rabbit Coordinator for " in front of EVERY event name.

OK, still looking for feedback on the idea of removing dates references from this page, to make it more of an "always Coordinates" page, while the other Schedule of Upcoming Events page handles month-by-month specifics, every year. Anyone object to my removing dates from this page, the better to emphasize folks here as being "primary, permanent points of contact?" One need only remove one's name, if skipping a year; or put out a call on the list for a replacement.

Otherwise, this page is seriously redundant and might even become out of synch with the more specific, planning-driven Schedule of Upcoming Events page. Put another way: this page is a general roster; the SoUE page is more of an up-to-the-minute sign-up sheet. --David Artman 09:14, 31 July 2007 (PDT)

STILL looking for feedback... anyone home at all, here? Should I take charge, as no one else seems to care about it like I do?

Meanwhile, check out my user page (David Artman) under the Conventions section, for a list of conventions that I have shifted to be handled as Categories (not external links, like mostly used here). If you click one of them, you will see how I offer an external link, then a "standard" planning section, then a list of event reports by year (using "CONVENTION_NAME/YEAR" format for the wiki page name). --David Artman 13:36, 23 August 2007 (PDT)

I would say that once the Schedule of Upcoming Events is in table format, the Rabbit Coordinator for Conventions section should be changed to say, "See Schedule of Upcoming Events". But that's just me. What do I know? :-) Jwolfe 20:45, 23 August 2007 (PDT)

[edit] Non-Retail -> Other

I changed "Non-Retail" to "Other". It seems to make little sense that I put myself down for each and every store in St Louis under the "Retail" section, so I figured geographically would be fine. However, that section said "Non-Retail" which also didn't make sense, as I'd be doing it for the local FLGSes. So I changed it to Other.
