Are you sure folks will even use, need, or want location-sorting capabilities (via Categories)? I only ask because most folks already know what cities and states are near them and, thus, can find nearby cons by just scanning the list.

Of course, an "ideal" Schedule of Events would include sortable table, to sort by state or by date or by whatever... but that's not supported in HTML yet (takes JavaScript... which MIGHT be doable, actually).

Anyhow, go for it (as they always say on the list) but don't be surprised if most folks don't automatically start tagging locations as Category links (or even as Article links).

Then again... it would be handy for sorting out Rabbits, to help them find local players... hmmm... so we'd tag our own User pages with state and (maybe) region, and those ccategory pages would sort out all of the, say, North Carolina Rabbits. Hmmmm... OK, I like it. Maybe you should start a new section on the Main Page Talk, to raise this as a possible Standard Practice. ---David Artman 08:58, 31 August 2007 (PDT)
